'Chasing night sky around North West Ontraio'
When I was young, I used to lay on the ground or on the bench at the playground to see the sky. I don’t know why… but I used to really enjoy it.
When there is no objects around me(ex. building, trees, hydro lines etc), I used to be able to feel that how small I am. And strange feeling of isolation and getting sucked into that great void space.
Since I moved to Thunder Bay and saw how clear night sky is without much light pollution, it reminded me of what I used to love, what I used to get fascinated about
This photo named ‘Sleeping Giant Under a Starry Sky’ is probably one of my favorite photos of my own. I was very lucky that night to capture this image with perfect weather condition and timing.
Technically speaking, it is not the perfect ‘milky way photo’, but still the photo I am very proud of. You know, one of the photo you spend so much time thinking about it and you are so happy about it :p
If you are interested in the story and want to see my journey of the photos that I’ve taken for past year and half, stay on the page and keep scrolling down!!
‘This photo is what really got me started’
A girl holding a flash light up under the starry sky of New Zealand.
What can be more magical..?
I don’t know… That was what I thought!
I think 2019 will be another fun year for me.
I have better gears, better setup, and better knowledge about how to capture and how to process.
And for those who wants to learn about how to capture milky way and how to process the photos to make it look stunning, I will be offering few limited workshop dates during this spring/summer.
It will be very heavily weather dependent!! So just crossing fingers for me.
I will be posting the information on my Facebook page shortly. So stay tuned!
